Logbook, 1815-1817.

Log kept by Irvine Shubrick on the U.S. frigate Guerriere, commanded by Stephen Decatur, from 8-11 Oct. 1815 from Gibraltar along the coast of Spain, and on the U.S. sloop of war Ontario, James Biddle commander, from 4-19 Oct. 1817 from Sandy Hook [N.J.?] on a course east-southeast in the Atlantic Ocean. The printed log form completed in manuscript records the course, coordinates, wind, and weather.
